We are thrilled to announce that hVMC has been awarded new research funding through the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) — a significant vote of confidence in the model and its potential to transform dementia care for regional Australians.
This funding will extend support at Echuca Regional Health for an additional 2–3 months, and — most excitingly — will enable hVMC to expand to three new sites:
- Orange, New South Wales
- Yorke and Northern Local Health Network, South Australia
- Gippsland, Victoria
This expansion means that thousands more people living in regional and remote Australia will be able to access timely, specialist memory assessment close to home. We are enormously grateful to the MRFF for supporting this important work.
